2. General principles
This website is deliberately designed to minimise data. No analytics, tracking or advertising services are integrated. No fonts, maps or videos are loaded from external servers – all content is delivered from our own server. As a result, simply visiting the site does not involve any data transfer to third parties.
3. Server log files
When you access this website, the web server automatically records information transmitted by your browser. This includes:
- IP address (truncated or stored only briefly)
- Date and time of the request
- Page or file requested
- Amount of data transferred and HTTP status code
- Browser type, browser version and operating system
- Referrer URL (previously visited page)
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in technically error-free operation, the security of our systems and the prevention of attacks. This data is not merged with other data sources. Log files are deleted after no later than 30 days .
4. Hosting
This website is hosted by the following provider: netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. The provider processes the data mentioned above exclusively on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions.
5. Cookies and local storage
We only use technically necessary storage entries. Specifically, we store your cookie choice and your preferred language in your browser’s local storage. These entries are not transmitted to our server and serve exclusively to make the website work. The legal basis is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

6. Contacting us
This website does not contain a contact form. If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, telephone number, content of your enquiry) in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). We delete this data as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose, but at the latest upon expiry of the statutory retention periods.
7. Job applications
If you apply for one of our advertised positions, we process your application data exclusively for the purpose of conducting the application procedure. The legal basis is § 26 (1) BDSG in conjunction with Art. 88 GDPR and Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. If no employment relationship comes about, we delete your documents no later than six months after completion of the procedure, unless you have expressly consented to longer storage.
8. External links
This website links to external services (e.g. Google Maps for directions). These links are only opened when you actively click on them. Only then does the respective provider receive data about you. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on those pages; please refer to their privacy notices.
